About Rosa

My name is Rosa Mejia, and I have dedicated more than twenty years to the field of elementary education. Helping children learn to read, especially those who struggle with it, is a particular passion of mine. In the latter part of my career, I shifted my focus to early literacy and interventions for struggling readers. I created and led Learning Centers in various schools, using diagnostic reading assessments to identify student needs and developing targeted lessons to meet those needs. By regularly sharing progress with students and their families, I have seen my students grow in both their reading ability and their confidence. Witnessing their transformation and motivation to learn is incredibly rewarding. I absolutely love what I do!
